Ikea Alex assortment system

This download includes the compleete ikea alex assortment system for all the variations and sizes of the ikea ALEX Line.

For the wide drawer section as well as the desk, the systmen is devided into four equal cradles that are able to hold any combination of boxes up to 5 by 7. All of these boxes (included) are a height of 54mm.

For the narrower drawer section, there are two different height cradles. The short one will fit in all of the drawers and also holds the 54mm tall boxes. The Tall cradle will only fit in the tall drawers and can hold all the variations of boxes, (54mm and 75mm)

If you want even more boxes, there is another variation of the cradle with no top edge, that can go on top of the tall cradle and hold another layer of boxes.

For all the cradles (with the exception of the small one) one complete cradle consists of two prints of the same part, and will be attached together with a piece of filament like seen in the video.

Also included in the download are all the variations of boxes that will fit inside the cradles. That means from 1x1 all the way up to 5x7.

All in all this download consists of over 700 individual files.

Note: In the video I mention that the Narrow drawer section needs a spacer piece in the back, this is no longer the case, so you don't have to worry about printing any additional parts. The small wall mounted drawer section still needs either a large spacer on one side, or a small spacer on either side of the drawer. Both included in the same file.

All the cradles come in a .STEP format and all the boxes come in a .STL format.
